Elipsos Train-Hotel

After spending an afternoon in Barcelona, we boarded the Elipsos train-hotel for an overnight ride to Paris. It is really a hotel on wheels! It is quite elegant but well worth it. Fine white-tablecloth dining at 160 MPH? With 8 oversized water/wine glasses spread across the table to keep upright? I DON'T THINK SO. We couldn't even keep the stemware whole in a restaurant that was standing still the previous day.... JF wanted to "bag" dinner altogether and eat our leftover bread and apples in the bunks...

We successfully made it thru dinner without any disasters......We lucked out with 2 gran class bunkbed cabins so we didn't have to draw straws for the top bunk! The boys are trying to "sync" their iPods so they can sing to us.....
The beds were so unbelievably comfortable, and the rocking, the flashing lights going by, and the rumble of the train guaranteed us a good nights sleep. In the morning, the boys begged to stay on the train for a ride back to Spain!
