Remind me to never use these cute sash-like tablecloths below. Unfortunately, when they get caught in a certain young man's lap as he gets up to show me the AWESOME restrooms, they easily pull all wine glasses and dessert plates rapidly to the floor in a big CRASH....10/30/07
Shoreline sights of the Med
Well, after seeing all of the America's Cup festivities, John, Dan and the boys spent a day touring the beaches of Valencia, seeing the sights of the Mediterranean Sea shoreline. Mis and I spent the day shopping. Well! Jimmy learned his times tables, especial by TWOS. No they did not come across Noah's Ark. "MOM!, we saw 36 topless women! Thats 72 ninnies!" Unfortunately they didn't have the camera to document the fun....
We went back to the beach that night for dinner. We all ordered the pallenta (say Pie-Enta), a Spanish seasoned rice dish that usually features a variety of seafood. Being like true locals, Mis and Dan ordered the House Special Placenta, oops, I meant Pallenta. Yikes! Shrimp and what? Rabbit?
Climbing these Eiffel Towers looked fun "til the big boys tried it!
A little boogie on the beach, before splashing around in the sea.........
The next day, we had lunch at the Submarine Restaurant at L'Oceanographic, in the City of Arts & Sciences. Inside a huge aquarium, underwater, we got the feeling of being beneath hovering jellyfish, as thousands of live fish swam swiftly past our table.
