Regatta time in Eustis FL
On October 20 & 21, Lake Eustis Sailing Club hosted the The Florida Inland Lake Championship. 37 junior sailors from around the state competed in 5 races in the Optimist fleet. FYC's Johnny Fewell placed 1st in the White Fleet and 3rd overall, and FYC's Kyle Runnfeldt placed 3rd in the White Fleet and 11th Overall. Kyle, Johnny, and their families enjoyed camping, football, kayaking, & cookouts after the races with friends from the Halifax Sailing Center, Epping Forest, and other yacht clubs.
