Seeing the action....

Check out the top left corner of this pic. There are 2 people standing on the 5th floor of the BMW Oracle Base Camp. That is a HUGE photo wall of Oracle's racing team!!
We did meet a few famous sailors. Paul Pierre Cayard (born May 19, 1959) is an American yachtsman who has participated in a broad range of world championship level sailing events including the America's Cup, the Volvo Ocean Race and the Olympic Games. In 1998 he was selected as the Rolex Yachtsmen of the Year. He was elected into the Sailing World Hall of Fame in 2002. In total, he has twice participated in the Olympic Games and five times in the America's Cup, in addition to winning seven world championships. Isn't he cute?
Off to the races!!!We saw the second to last day of the Louis Vuitton Finals from the water... with hundreds and hundreds of other spectator boats.....

The next day, Emirates Team New Zealand won its fifth consecutive race of the Final to sweep the Louis Vuitton Cup 5-0 and advance to the America’s Cup Match. Italy’s Luna Rossa Challenge put up a brave fight in this final contest on Wednesday afternoon, but were no match for the mighty Kiwis.
